Here’s Ain’t No Grave sung by Cindy Morgan is another hymn recorded at Covenant Presbyterian Church.

There ain’t no grave gonna hold my body down
There ain’t no grave gonna hold my body down
When I hear that trumpet sound I’m gonna rise right out of the ground
There ain’t no grave gonna hold my body down

(Until I was tagging this I’d forgotten about a previous posting of this song.)

Keeper Of Days by Jon Guerra.
The title track of the album of the same name.
Amazing lyrics. Timeless, yet very timely.

I do not understand your mind
Yet still I know you set the synapses of time
Though I am small I know you light my path
My precious Lord and God

All life is yours
All death is yours
Keeper of days
I give you praise
I give you praise

Okay. Granddaughter thought a themed cake, preferably Star Wars was in order. It needed to be gluten free. And manageable in a socially distant fashion. And easily transportable for those who’d eaten a big dinner and would prefer to take theirs away.

So, chocolate Storm Trooper cupcakes with cream cheese white chocolate frosting and marshmallow toppers were in order.

What was most satisfying from a fatherly perspective was that all my kids understood why they had to be a certain size, because no one should look at a storm trooper cupcake and say “Aren’t you a little short to be a storm trooper cupcake?”

Well, NRL made it back and the world didn’t come to an end.
And the results demonstrated that the more things change, the more things stay the same.
So, let’s see how the second round plays out.
One of my tipping things counts draws as plus, the other one doesn’t. I will.
