‘Grandma Margaret’ (what a surreal way of referring to the wife of your youth) finished knitting this shawl today. (I also have no idea if she’s going to be called ‘grandma’ by the way.) My son Peter plays the clarinet quite proficiently. He does this amazing trick where he can practice in his room, but no music comes out. I call these ‘zen clarinet practices’. In any case this helpful chart about music practice can go on his wall. It should save his mother’s voice. source ht
