My Daughters Wished I Took This Class: Hairbrushing 101

Classes for fathers on “how to do “pain-free” brushing, use detangling products, execute a basic ponytail, create a fishtail braid and — the piece de resistance — a flower braid.”
One testimonial: “It’s definitely helped,” he said. “And it’s better than her sitting there going ‘ouch, ouch, ouch’ when I brush it.”
Here’s the article on Melbourne’s Herald Sun.
If you search you’ll find it at other places.

Knitted Baby Shawl Finished; Now Waiting For Occupant

‘Grandma Margaret’ (what a surreal way of referring to the wife of your youth) finished knitting this shawl today.
(I also have no idea if she’s going to be called ‘grandma’ by the way.)
Our church knitting group gave her a seated ovation.
Apparently there’s some more knitting to be done before our grandchild arrives in May.
She’ll probably cross-post this on her own Facebook feed, so compliment her there.
And if you click on the photo you’ll see it at a larger size.
