O Brother, Where Art Thou is a favourite movie here.
The Peasall Sisters provided the singing for the characters the Little Wharvey Gals, even though George Clooney was their paterfamilias.
Here are a variety of renditions of Angel Band.

First, briefly, from the O Brother soundtrack. (this features vocals by Robert Hamlett as well)

Secondly, a 2007 rendition (the video is completely out of sync, so close your eyes)

Thirdly, a 2011 interview with them about the original recording experience in which they provide a taste of how they sound some ten years down the track – begins at 2.20. (The first couple of minutes deals with Dan Tyminski’s recording of Man Of Constant Sorrows)

Farther Along is a song of faith that is more about trust than sight.
There’s a lot we don’t understand, and much may never understand in this life.
But time will come when all will be clear.

This charming rendition comes from the Peasall Sisters, who are all a bit older now than when they recorded this.
The group no longer exists as such, due to the grown and independent lives they now lead.
They’ve gone Farther Along.

The latest birthday addition to the Batcave is a replica size Green Lantern Power Battery.

It looks like one from the comic books, and in no way evokes memories of the movie

And when you bring the ring that it came with close to the lamp, it even glows.

I imagine at some stage the football seasons will feel like the real things.
At the moment they feel more like those pre-season comps from the old days.
They do feel slightly more real than the Amco Cup, though.
