This week MGPC commissions two of our members, Jeroen and Diana, to mission in Papua New Guinea. Our guest speakers are all joining us by video recording, including our preacher Kevin Murray.
It’s a different sort of service, but we’ve had lots of those over the last 18 months.

For those unable to join us at MGPC, the service will be live-streamed.
The video is available at our website and youtube channel.

Song: As You Go

A wise man once advised me “Always order the Laksa”. BA-MI is a new Vietnamese Take Away Café here in town.

The Laksa is most acceptable, as have been all the other menu items sampled so far. The wise man never said that Laksa was all you should order.

All but five teams of the AFL are looking to next year.
The ARL will be interesting in that I think this will be a record year for teams concluding their seasons losing more games than winning. As many as ten could finish that way, meaning only six out of sixteen teams would be in positive territory. In a 16 team competition there’s going to be a teams that languish, but there’s a significant part of the roster this year that are not competitive week by week.
