Last week I did not remember that the AFL were having a weekend off before the finals.
Most people in Queensland would also not have been aware of whether AFL games were being played or not, as well.
I had tipped the Brisbane Broncos to lose, and Brisbane Lions to win. Though half-way there I am certainly not half-way more confident.
It will be interesting to see how Easts pull up in the NRL after their thumping loss last week. I’ve tipped Penrith because they deserve favouritism, but the Panthers won’t have been too happy about the massive gee-up the Roosters have got courtesy of Souths.
