Sometimes I wonder how I’ve managed to never have seen movies as well-known as The Sting.
There’s a lost of classic films that are not available on streaming services or bluray discs in Australia.
And I’ve not warmed up to digital purchases of movies, and I’ve never rented movies online.
I got Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid a while ago.
It’s hard to believe Newman and Redford only made two pictures together, such is their reputation as a screen duo.
Both movies are served by wonderful plots and dialogue,
The Sting has a superb supporting cast who elevate the performances of the leads.
Anyway, that’s another piece of motion-picture history off my list.
