Out for lunch with friends today the food was served on plates and we each had our own tongs and spoon to serve our food with.
Not to eat with, just for serving.
It’s actually a pretty good way to have shared food.
And the food and company were excellent. Another year of fellowship with the pastors of Mount Gambier.

For years we’ve been organising Fire Drills at mgpc.
Organising is probably too strong a word, but I can’t think of a substitute.
The biggest challenge is finding a morning when it’s not freezing or raining outside.
Those mornings, most people would rather take their chances with a fire.
I don’t know why this scene from The Office has never come to my attention before.
Now, whenever we’re doing a fire drill this is what I’ll be thinking about.
