Backyard Ashes is apparently the finest motion picture ever set in Wagga Wagga.
Made in 2013, I’d never heard of it before today.
It’s simple and has no pretensions to high art, though the cast and those who have put the movie together show skill.
I’m sure a number of people gained valuable experience, and many experienced performers supported them doing it.
Most characters seem derivative of numerous cultural and personal tropes.
But the familiarity of the personality types shows who tropes become tropes.
Not a movie for cat lovers.
