Halo and Sprocket is a point of view comic by Kerry Callen.
An angel and a robot take up residence with a young woman. (for… reasons)
The presence of wonder and logic prove a bit disruptive to everyday life in whimsical and charming fashion.
This is available from Amazon print on demand, and is personally published by Callen who has revised and coloured existing material – making for a polished collection.
I’ve been appreciating Callen’s wit mostly online for years, so it’s great to be able to support him.

Highly recommended.

NRL magic round was tragic round for tips. Anytime I feel it’s bad to be a tipster, I remember what it must be like to be a coach.
AFL sort of behaved. This round all the games have clear favourites, except for the first one.
I also guess I’m tipping Anthony Albanese to get up on Saturday.

The newly released edition of the Cinerama movie The Wonderful World Of The Brothers Grimm features two versions of the film.

One features a 2.85:1 letterbox widescreen rendition of the three screen format and the second features what is called ‘Smilebox’ in which the image is formatted to simulate that curved whole field of vision experience of the cinema.
