The gluten-free enchilada kit worked okay. There was also a Caramilk self-saucing pudding, but it wouldn’t be fair to show a picture of that.

The Porter’s Gate Worship Collective are releasing two mid-length albums, distinct yet complementary in their themes.
One is styled Justice Songs and the other Lament Songs.
My pre-release copies have been in my music library for a week or so now.
This video contains a bit of background story and Instrument Of Peace, one of the tracks from Justice Songs.
As with all their releases (and material from previous works these folk have been involved in) the lyrics are thoughtful and challenging, the melodies are strong and inviting.
I’ll feature more in the coming days and weeks.
Another in the sporadic series ‘I Could Be The Pastor Of A Country And Western Church.’
Will The Circle Be Unbroken by Brad Paisley & Keb’ Mo’, live at the Grand Ole Opry.
So, the AFL Grand Final is going to be played in Brisbane.
The season wouldn’t have existed without the support the QLD government has provided, so that’s why there’s minimal grumbling.
I expect Queensland will be enthusiastic hosts.
But the narrative of this being a development of a frontier market is not a strong one.
Don’t expect nine out of ten Queenslanders to be able to name more than a half-dozen players who participate in the grand final the week after it happens.
A half-dozen may be generous.
Despite providing tips each week and following AFL for over 20 years, there’s at least twelve or more clubs where I’m not sure I could name any players with confidence.
