Quick trip to the Adelaide Oval to see the Adelaide Strikers play.

This is one game of cricket in Australia today where there’ll be a result. More about that later.

Something brand new on Sunday Songs.

Stand As One is performed live by composer Sandra McCracken (with Tim Nicholson) and features Zema for Christ, David Danel, and Stepan Drtina.
Hailing from Nashville, the Czech Republic and Ethiopia, it’s a cross cultural, world Christian expression of unity in Christ.

The lyrics:

Stay in the joy, in the Father’s strength
In the Spirit’s power, heart to heart, we believe
Safe in the promise, raised with the Son
Scattered and protected, we will stand as one
We will stand as one, we will stand as one

Hope of the Nations, of all who’ve gone before
Trusting through the darkness ‘Till the light broke forth
Standing on their shoulders, help our eyes see
A vision of the Kingdom of what is yet to be
And we stand as one, and we stand as one

CHORUS:
Worship the King, worship the king
We stand as one, we lift our voices
To worship the King, worship the King
We stand as one, we lift one voice in praise

Together with the angels, see him face to face
Jesus is the glory, Light that will not fade
In a world perfected, when the King returns
No more pain or sorrow, when the work is done
And we stand as one, we will stand as one (Chorus)

Westminster Larger Catechism – Lord’s Day 2

Q & A 2
Q How does it appear that there is a God?
A The very light of nature in man, and the works of God, declare plainly that there is a God;1 but his word and Spirit only do sufficiently and effectually reveal him unto men for their salvation.2

Q & A 3
Q What is the Word of God?
A The holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament are the Word of God,3 the only rule of faith and obedience.4

Q & A 4
Q How does it appear that the Scriptures are of the Word of God?
A The Scriptures manifest themselves to be the Word of God, by their majesty5 and purity;6 by the consent of all the parts,7 and the scope of the whole, which is to give all glory to God;8 by their light and power to convince and convert sinners, to comfort and build up believers unto salvation:9 but the Spirit of God bearing witness by and with the Scriptures in the heart of man, is alone able fully to persuade it that they are the very word of God.10

Q & A 5
Q What do the Scriptures principally teach?
A The Scriptures principally teach, what man is to believe concerning God, and what duty God requires of man.*11

Attended a birthday dinner for an amazing friend at Mount Gambier’s South-Eastern Hotel and dined on a R&B, as in ribs and beef, which is cooked in the smoked and sauce drenched USA style. Very, very acceptable and demanding further investigation of the accompanying menu items when I am able to return with reinforcements.
