National Burger Day 2021 is coming and going without a burger for me this year.
Next year for sure.

But here’s a classic song instead.
And no, it’s not about growing up in Connecticut.

Here’s Kate Rusby singing True Colours, which features on her album Hand Me Down.
She’s accompanied here by husband Damien O’Kane who produces a wondrous instrumental accompaniment.
She talks for a while, then sings, and talks a bit more.

Melbourne’s snap lock down means the AFL this weekend is a shamozzle. Including one game being cancelled; not sure what that means for tipping, but I’ll tip it anyway.
The NRL, on the other hand seems untouched, with Melbourne having stayed in Queensland from last round. You’d thing they knew something.
Of course Melbourne can kiss game one of the State of Origin goodbye, but they won’t consider that loss. Lots of Melbourne folk would pretty much consider the lock-down worth it, if it got rid of a rugby league game.
