The second season of our series in 2 Corinthians continues with The Essential Commendation.
As we live out the Gospel, it is the approval of God our Father that we focus on, not the attention or approval of those around us. Only in this way will we be able to serve each other with Gospel love.

For those unable to join us at MGPC, the service will be live-streamed.
The video is available at our website and youtube channel.

Hello Unknown by Laura Story.

I’m prone to find a way to skip the hard
The very trials You would use to refine me
There’s beauty You create through every scar
If only I’m willing
Lord Jesus I’m willing
I am letting go
Of everything I’ve known
Farewell predictable oh
No more playing it safe
I’ll free fall into faith
I’ll say goodbye control
Hello unknown

I Will Carry You from Ellie Holcomb’s album Canyon.
So many have carried us, while we’ve felt the weight of our burden.
The load may not have felt lighter, but the burden has been eased.

I will carry you
through your darkest nights
When you’re terrified
I will carry you
When the water’s rise
When your Hope runs dry
I will carry you
Up and over the mountains
Valley deep as the ocean
And when you can’t keep going
I will shoulder your burdens

Find Rest by Caroline Cobb with Taylor Leonhardt.

All the work is done, it is finished
No, you’re not enough, but it is finished
I will lead you on, til at last your home
Ever to sing this song, “It is finished”
Find rest, find rest for your soul
I’ll walk beside you, you’re not alone
Find rest, find rest for your soul
Light and easy, come take my yoke
