In the US where scones are called ‘biscuits’ some are named ‘cathead biscuits,’ so-called because they are the size of a cat’s head.
After an hour walking up and down the Esplanade at Hervey Bay we stopped for a late morning-tea and had what appeared to be cathead scones.
These might have been larger than the average cat’s head.
And they were date scones.
Cathead date scones.
The coffee and the view were splendid additions.
