Stephen McDonald has done a bang-up job of taking these notes. (As I mentioned yesterday)
Of particular interest is the session by John Wilson, combining observations about the history and theological life of the Presbyterian Church of Victoria over the last 35 years or so to produce with practical applications for the future.
There’s also a panel session about pastoral life, moderated by Peter Hastie and featuring four Melbourne based pastors.
Session 6: John Wilson – 35 Years After Union, Is There Hope? [Download John’s notes, including graphs, at cenc.org.au]
Session 7: Moderator: Peter Hastie – Pastoral Panel / Panelists: Bill Medley (Frankston); Gerard Vanderwert (Donvale); Neil Chambers (Bundoora); Don Elliot (Eltham)
And the other sessions:
Session 5: David Jones – Understanding Ourselves
Session 8: Nello Barbieri – Disciple-Making for Busy People
Session 9: David Jones – The Goal of Ministry
