I’ve decided to post another version of O Come, O Come Emmuanuel (just like yesterday). I could pretty much just post versions all month, but probably not. We’ll see. This one’s by The Franz Family.
O Come, O Come Emmanuel is worth posting every year. Particularly when there are so many amazing recordings of the song around. This is by someone called Citizen Shade. It’s pretty special, even if it’s not all the verses.
You may not know Little Bilberry, which is the tune, but you should know the words: Hark! The Herald Angels Sing. A traditional folk melody, sung by Kate Rusby. From her album, The Frost Is All Over.
