I’m so excited that there’s a recording of There’s A Royal Banner by Acapeldridge.
I loved singing this at camps, conventions, youth gathering type things (!) back in the day.
There’s a number of lyric variations in later verse and this rendition includes three.
here’s verse 1 and the chorus
1
There’s a royal banner given for display
To the soldiers of the King;
As an ensign fair we lift it up today,
While as ransomed ones we sing.
Chorus
Marching on, marching on,
For Christ count ev’rything but loss!
And to crown Him King,
toil and sing ‘Neath the banner of the cross!
