The idea that Christianity is a ticket out of troubles is not a new idea. Nor is the idea that a Christian experiencing adversity is probably doing something wrong. Paul demonstrates not only that Christians experiencing affliction is a hallmark of Christian life, but also that the fruit of God’s grace and peace in our lives to to enable us to serve others by sharing that comfort with them in their afflictions.
