Trying to nurture a church culture that wants and welcomes growth (along with the dynamics of change that growth brings) is challenging.
You’re trying to be ready to be one thing while, in some ways, you’re not that thing yet.
It can feel overwhelming, tiring, and disruptive while what it is you’re working toward can seem a long way away.
It would be nice to visit churches the next step larger than mine to better appreciate the operating dynamics and have a better idea of the culture narrative we’re trying to communicate about growth.
