Like everyone else I’ve seen that George Lucas has sold Star Wars, aka Lucasfilm, to Disney.
On the downside, Disney will end up cranking out new additions to the Star Wars movie and media catalogue. They haven’t paid 4 billion dollars just for some back catalogue DVD sales and to have Darth Vader wandering around Disneyland.
On the upside, George Lucas won’t be the one cranking out new Star Wars movies.
Anyway, trawling through various memes and reflections on the situation, this musical version of Leia getting an appropriate welcome into the Disney Princesses club is one of the best.
