Following my last post, here’s two more tracks from John Paul White’s album Beulah. The Martyr, and, by way of contrast, the sparse acoustic Black Leaf.
John Paul White was one half of dissolved duo The Civil Wars. He’s just released a solo album called Beulah. It’s a very accomplished guitar and vocal driven work that traverses a range of rock/folk/country/americana/acoustic/electric styles while still sounding recognisable to Civil Wars fans.
