Andrew Peterson will be getting lots of recognition over Easter for his wonderful song Is He Worthy.
That song is from Peterson’s album Resurrection Letters Volume 1, which came out about ten years after Resurrection Letters Volume 2.
Just before the long-awaited Volume 1 came out an EP called Resurrection Letters Prologue was released.
It beautifully sets the scene for the two albums.
The first track from it is Tenebrae, which is an observance some Christians follow in the lead-up to Easter, and which focuses on the seven sayings of Jesus while on the Cross.
This year at MGPC we’ll be looking at two of those sayings in particular.

48 vocalists from 14 nations compiled over 5 months sing the song as a virtual a cappella choir.
So it’s not an instant response to our current cultural moment.
It’s nice to hear singing in a variety of parts and voices as well.
The YouTube channel that hosts this has plenty of interesting content.

World treasure Dolly Parton is reading bedtime stories on Youtube under the title of Goodnight With Dolly.
Here’s the first one, the classic tale of The Little Engine That Could.
The second one will premiere in a couple of days – The Coat Of Many Colours.
I imagine there are some parents who may just keep these for themselves.
