Oh my. Wild Pork And Watercress has a substantially different conclusion to the movie Hunt For The Wilderpeople. I think it is better than the movie. It’s certainly different from the movie in both content and tone. Which in no way diminishes my love for the movie.
The movie Hunt For The Wilderpeople is inspired by the book Wild Pork And Watercress. The book has its own narrative qualities that would be interesting if someone made it into a movie in its own right. It’s a good book. Which in no way diminishes my love for the movie.
Purchasing a couple of books from K-Mart recently I wasn’t tempted to add Will Smith’s recent biography to the pile, despite the bargain price. Despite the presence of Will, I just couldn’t find a way.
It’s easier to read two books at once presently. When my focus wanes I can swap. The added bonus is they last longer.
