Today some Christians observe All Saints Day.
Part of that observance is to give thanks for those who have departed from the church visible to the church eternal.
Those who have departed in the last twelve months; those who have departed in the years before.
Thanks is given for their example, their encouragement, and their faith.
Giving that thanks today was special.
