Seth Rogan’s movie An American Pickle is a departure from his usual fare.
It is well-meaning in its sentiments as it intersects on themes of family, legacy, modern values, loss, and faith.
Rogan presents himself well in his role(s) and the resolution seeks to bring past and present together as both being necessary elements to engage the future.
