Yesterday (May 24) was Bob Dylan’s 80th birthday.
Because I live in Australia I usually find things out from Twitter a day late.
I’ve found that numbers of preachers who are usually about five to ten years older than me quote Dylan in their sermons.
Not so much these days.
Having traversed a number of positions and ideologies over the year means that Dylan’s body of work covers a lot of ground. But his music is a vehicle for a message that invites thought.
