It’s all over for another year; I’ll see if I have any interest in the State of Origin when it happens.
Richmond are a tremendous team, and Dustin Martin exemplified the difference between the two sides.
Melbourne are a tremendous team, one that has replaced champion players and their game style with a new games style that suits their new players. Nothing seemed to go right for Penrith, but Melbourne made their luck through skill.
And I hope Melbourne were encouraged by both results, a microcosm of the dedication and commitment to a shared goal that the city and state have been demonstrating over these past few months.
