State of Origin is over for another year.
Queensland acquitted themselves well, NSW deserved their favouritism, and I’m somewhat pleased for Mitchell Pierce. For some reason redemption stories appeal to me. There should be some cracking games in the years ahead.
Back in regular NRL and AFL things now move toward the finals.
I did not expect to see Brisbane Lions in their comp’s top four at this stage.
