NRL’s home and away season concludes this weekend, while the AFL has a weekend off.
It was unusual for the AFL to have the same teams in their top eight for what seemed like at least two-thirds of the season, maybe longer.
I’m still expecting Gold Coast to fill the last place in the eight, but only because I’m expecting both them and ninth placed Wests to lose.
