The extraordinary aspect of this weekend’s round of games is Brent Harvey claiming the record for most number of AFL games with his 427th.
He’s not limping to the mark as a bench player either, but is among the best of his team, week by week.
It seems likely that he’ll play on next year.
If he goes beyond 450 games it will be a record that will probably never be bettered.
