Having completed all the initial steps in helping mum move to nursing home care we were going to head home tomorrow.
It’s been a very tiring and draining couple of weeks.
Today we received news of a tragic death in my wife’s family and we’re going through Brisbane tomorrow to see her family.
Eventually we’ll get home to the Mount and see our family, then my wife and some of my daughters will be back to Brisbane for a funeral.
In a week or two I’ll be back up in Hervey Bay attending to more details about my mother’s house and maybe seeing her move into a new home.
In the midst of a lot of sadnesses we are thankful that my mum’s status as a war widow means that she’ll receive hospital style care until a place for her to live in is available. It is such a comfort to know that she’s secure and cared for until the next step is obvious.
Pray for us as we drive around, and especially pray for my wife’s family who are mourning a tragic death of a young life.

Praying for you Gary. May God grant you strength and wisdom at this time and may He provide comfort. Take time out to rest and refresh in Him. God bless.

Dear Gary and Margaret, Would you please accept our condolences and pass them on to Margaret and her family. We are praying for all of you and we know the tyranny of distance when family is in need. God is with all of you and he will carry you through this severe time of testing. love Brian & Lucinda.
