All Saints day is yet another part of the calendar which various Churches and Christians observe.
It falls on November 1.
The day is an opportunity to remember and give thanks for those faithful folk who have left our presence and gone to be with the Lord.
So, today I give thanks for those who have left the church militant and entered the church triumphant during the last year; and then my thoughts turn to so many others who have been faithful witnesses and disciples of Jesus that I have known over my life.

Giving thanks turns our hearts to God through Christ, and it also encourages us to be faithful in our lives as well.
Their faithfulness has been our encouragement.
Our faithfulness is part of the nurture of those who follow.

Give thanks.
Be faithful.
