Apparently January 3 is Fruitcake Toss Day.
Any uneaten or unwanted fruitcake remaining from Christmas can be tossed, literally or metaphorically today.
It’s a ‘real’ thing.
Look it up.
I’m pretty much on my own as a fruitcake eater at home.
It takes a bit of effort to get through them.
On the other hand, there’ll never need to be a short-bread toss day.
