I always tell the kids that in the unlikely (very, very, unlikely) event that we got a dog it would be a Jack Russell and its name would be ‘Jack’.
They take this as meaning that one day we will in fact get such a dog, but I think the older ones are wising up.
Anyway, the cartoon below displays my current (at least for the rest of the year) favourite dog name.
