The Melbourne Age is carrying the Fairfax press story about one young US citizen who was so disappointed with the result of the Presidential election she posted the following on Twitter:
It deserves some sort of award for being so utterly incorrect.
The message and the account on which it was posted have now been deleted.
I’m calling it as satirically ironic, the phrase about ‘supporting what he says’ seems intentionally aimed at our Prime Minister’s reputed problems with the truth, but seems to odd to be a coincidental assertion.
Anyway, I suppose it also demonstrates that at least one young woman with an internet connection did not see our PM’s recent speech.
