Musical collective Cardiphonia have released Ascension Songs, a new compilation of songs for the church season known as ‘Ascension’.
Like previous collections Songs For The Supper and Pentecost Songs this collection features a variety of ‘retuned’ older wordsets and modern hymns presented with contemporary musicianship of high standard.
It serves as a resource of songs around an important theme, as well as a sampler/introduction to a number of different songwriters/musicians whose primary output and work is for praise by local congregations.
