Bob Anderson, who died on January 2, was not an actor, but choreographed a lot of swordplay in modern cinema from the original Star Wars movies (which I watch last week) to the Lord Of The Rings and many more.
Apparently he even performed as Darth Vader in some combat scenes in the Star Wars trilogy.
But when it all boils down to it, this is my favourite movie sword fight, choreographed by Anderson and acted to perfection by Elwes and Patinkin.
Any other choice would be inconceivable.
