Imaginary pastor Brad Towers returns from a blogging hiatus to introduce ‘The Modern Fast For the Modern Man’ in an effort to make what would otherwise be a time-consuming spiritual discipline available to busy people.

Who’s got the time to fast for forty days? Not this guy. I’ve got things to do, lives to change, sermons to preach, a Farmville property to maintain.
