Eight hours sleep and then we hit the road for home.
So, we whiled away 14 hours in Johannesburg by spending the afternoon on a mini-bus tour. The tour featured Soweto, with frequent references to the pivotal figures in the country’s struggle for equal rights. The nine-hour flight to Perth went as well as it could go, and now we await a flight to Melbourne where …
So we’re boarding in Harare. 48 hours to home. Connections will be patchy, so I’ll check in in Perth, perhaps. See you on the other side. Gary.
Best three and a half hour church service I’ve ever attended. The sermon was well received. (and did not take up too big a slab of the three and a half hours, btw)
