This is my version of dairy-free lasagne. It’s been developing for a while, but I think I’ve got the hang of it now. The trickiest part has been developing a suitable bechamel sauce. The crumb topping replaces the browned cheese.
Found this cupcake stand amongst my daughter’s belongings and put Macarons on it.
An initial experiment with Macarons. Yes, I know, I’m that far behind trends. They cracked on top and have not risen with a ‘foot’, but the taste and texture seem fine. The (dairy-free) soy based ‘cream cheese’ Choc-vanilla cream filling is a triumph. I may experiment some more in the future.
