Trams ceased operation in Brisbane in 1969. These tracks on Old Cleveland Road were constructed in 1948. In use for 21 years, for the 48 years since they have have been a reminder to commuters and residents of an era of transportation long gone and fondly remembered. They’ve even been heritage listed.
