Sport is funny. The visiting team drew the series and retained the trophy (and gained a test championship trophy too) and marked themselves disappointed and underachieving. The home team drew the series and have now not held the Ashes since late 2017, yet spent the whole series trumpeting their self-satisfaction.
It will be interesting to see England tour India, and eventually Australia.
For some reason the leading AFL teams took an unofficial bye last weekend.
