Consecutive reading: Revelation 12:1-17 – The third cycle of visions, following the first cycle of 7 seals (chapters 6-7) and second cycle of seven trumpets (chapters 8-11) begins, and extends to the end of chapter 14. The work of redemption is depicted through the symbols of a woman, a child, a dragon, and Michael.

Reading and sermon: John 1:43-51 – Recognising Something Good. How meeting with Jesus defeats our expectation of what God should do, and instead reveals that what God has done is exactly what we need.
