This time last year Jozua had an accident.
Many readers followed the ongoing story of his recovery and prayed along.
Last night I (and lots of others) received the following email from his father.
Hello All,
Last year, 9 December, the last Monday of the school year, Jozua’s life (as all our lives are every day, we just seem to need the occasional reminder of this) was in God’s hand, and we celebrate today that he has not only continued to sustain his life, but restored him completely, and turned temporary pain into a blessing.
It is great to have Anne, Jozua, David and Naomi all with us in our family in such a normal way. A reminder to all to enjoy the live of those you love while they are around!
We are thankful for all the care Jozua received, the Royal Flying Doctors, the nurses, hospital staff, neurosurgeons, rehab, Ronald McDonald, etc. We are thankful for the care and concern we received through churches, school (accommodating his improving level of functioning; classmates helping him back to normality), work and community. From friends, family and from people we didn’t know knew us. We are thankful for the prayers from people close by and very far away, and especially to our God who answered with a miracle. We are thankful to you all.
Be glad with us!Have a wonderful Christmas, Jeroen & Diana
