Driving to Adelaide and back tomorrow and Saturday will give me time to listen to Kate Rusby’s two Christmas albums, Sweet Bells and While Mortals Sleep.
Both albums feature a range of English folk songs related to the Christmas season, demonstrating Rusby’s vocal prowess and the rich variations of songs and melodies that represent regional distinctives of past and present generations, particularly that of Yorkshire.

Here’s a rendition of the familiar words of Hark The Herald Angels Sing to a melody that I believe is called Malin Bridge.
