So, along with every other iTunes user today I got free copy of U2’s Songs of Innocence.
(I had to log out, select the album, and then log back in to download it.
Other people said they had to select show iTunes in the cloud purchases in their iTunes preferences, but that wasn’t working for me.)
I’m not a true U2 aficionado, but it sounds like a tight and accomplished album.
I don’t hear a killer hit track yet, though.
Just the thing for a long car drive to Queensland.
Makes me want to get some of their back catalogue to listen to as well.
And there was another item announced by Apple today that I may secure sometime soon as well.
