For anyone not on holidays or battling flu, here’s how things will go tomorrow.
Psalm 119:105-112 (Your Word’s A Lamp To Guide My Feet) and Now Thank We All Our God to commence worship.
The prayer of adoration and confession will thank God for the life he has brought his people into through Jesus and ask him to help us always look to Jesus as our Saviour and Lord.
Glory Of Glories, The Apostles’ Creed and Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow are our confession of faith and assurance.
In God’s Word, John 1:1-26 contains Jesus’ high priestly prayer.
This week we’re revising Hebrews 11:1 (hint: it’s about faith)
We’ll also sing Stop! Go! and Watch!
After reading Hebrews 13:7-19 the sermon will focus on Going To Jesus. The applications of this letter continue to focus on the central thesis of God’s saving work through Jesus Christ. Christian life is not about believing and doing, it’s about a relationship with Jesus and actions that flow from that relationship.
We’ll prepare for the Lord’s Supper singing Jesus Paid It All and then share the supper together.
After our pastoral prayer, we’ll give our tithes and offerings then conclude worship singing You’re The Word Of God The Father (Across The Lands).
