Tonight I’m having sausage for supper to mark The Affair Of The Sausages, an event which culminated in Ulrich Zwingli’s sermon of March 23, 1522 in which he defended as biblical people’s freedom from fasting for Lent.

So, enjoy your freedom from needless and counterproductive asceticism, give thanks for the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ, and eat some sausage.
Not so much the vegetables pictured below, pretty much just sausage.
