Thirty years ago, on July 9 1983, the fellow in the photo is standing next to the loveliest person he’d ever met.
Over the next thirty years he’s still never met anyone more lovely, and yet she’s grown lovelier still.

What would the occasion be without some music?
I’ve posted these before, first Andrew Peterson’s Dancing In The Minefields.
One of the many reasons why I like it so much is that with a one year difference the first line tells our story.
‘Well I was eighteen you were twenty-one, the year we got engaged. And people said we were much too young, but we did it anyway…’
Second, Nathan Clark George’s You Make Me Smile.
you make me smile – you make me laugh
you make me want to make this last
you make me hope, you make me dream
you make me feel like I can be me and you – make me smile
Congratulations, God has continued to bless you and, now, your family.
Lots of love from Brian & Lucinda
